Christmas is a happy time spent with family.
The season is traditionally celebrated with a church service for the religious, a Christmas stroll, and a large dinner on Christmas Eve.
On Weihnachten, or "Christmas Day," Germans greet each other by saying Frohe Weihnachten!

It means "Merry Christmas!"
