They're often in the form of sweet made of marzipan. I don’t know if you know, but marzipan is from Germany. Well people, I guess it depends, some people love it and some people don’t. I love it and it's very famous for most sweets and it tastes also very sweet, and it’s usually with chocolate around it. It's my favorite.
4. Neujahrsansprache der Bundeskanzlerin "New Year's Address by the Chancellor"
The Chancellor gives a speech in New Year’s Day and it’s everywhere on TV and it’s kind of welcoming, welcoming the new years.
Die Neujahrsansprache der Bundeskanzlerin wird meistens im Fernsehen angeschaut und zwar mit der ganzen Familie. "On New Year's Day the New Year's Address by the Chancellor is usually shown on TV and watched by the whole family."
5. Frohes Neues Jahr "Happy New Year"
So once the clock hits midnight, and the fireworks are up, everybody is wishing each Happy New Year, and hugging each other, and being happy for the new year. Frohes Neues Jahr!
