Hello! Welcome to German Weekly Words. My name is Alisa and today's topic is at a hotel. |
1. das Einzelbett “single bed” |
Since it is das bett, it’s also das Einzelbett. |
Wenn man alleine auf Reisen geht, dann bucht man normalerweise ein Einzelbett. “When you go on a vacation alone, you usually book a single bed.” |
2. das Doppelbett “double bed” |
Wenn man natürlich zu zweit unterwegs ist, bucht man ein Doppelbett. “Well obviously when you are traveling with two people, you obviously get a double bed.” |
3. die Rezeption “front desk” |
It is die Rezeption. |
An der Rezeption kann man meistens sehr viele Informationen über die Stadt oder das Land bekommen. “At the front desk, it’s possible to get all information on the country or the city you’re visiting.” |
4. der Schlüssel “key” |
It is der Schlüssel. |
Heutzutage gibt es sehr viele elektronische Schlüssel im Hotel. “Nowadays, there are a lot of electronic keys at the hotel.” |
I’ve hardly seen any with normal keys. |
5. die Empfangshalle “lobby” |
Die Empfangshalle ist ein sehr guter Treffpunkt. “The lobby is a very good meeting point.” |
