I like this lesson about animal names. I would like to suggest a lesson on pet essentials (collar , leash , food bowl , ect.)

Hi Ian,

Thank you for your feedback.

You are right. It should be "petted", and your sample sentences

are great. I will forward your comment to our team to have it fixed as

soon as possible. Sorry for the invonvenience.

As to your second comment, I will consult with the team, but I personally

prefer "essen" to "fressen" too. That is because I find "fressen" a bit degrading.

So, if the team in charge of making changes to the lessons leave that as it is, could

you ignore it, please?😉

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Kind regards,

Reinhard

Die Affen essen Ameisen mit einem Stock

This is wrong.

Humans - essen

Animals - fressen

Die Affen fressen Ameisen mit einem Stock

The monkeys are eating ants with a stick.

Wir haben heute Schafe und Ziegen im Streichelzoo gestreichelt.

The translation is wrong.

"Wir haben ------ gestreichelt" is the past tense.

"We pet sheep and goats" is the present tense.

The translation should be "We PETTED sheep and goats today at the petting zoo"

But better would be either:

."Today, we petted sheep and goats at the petting zoo"

or

"We petted sheep and goats at the petting zoo today"

Thankyou for vocabulary in related groups. I find the flashcards very useful for learning words and placing them in a context, but would appreciate a little more grammatical information ….. with nouns for instance, is it "der/die/das", and a plural form. I admit to being quite an old-fashioned grammar-oriented type of learner!
