Back in 1885, a German psychologist, Hermann Ebbinghaus, figured out just how quickly we forget new information. You forget about 75% of what you learned after a day or two. Don’t worry; he had a solution. You need to review right before you forget… and do so over “spaced” periods of time. In 2 days. Then in 4 days. And so on. So that the information goes into your long-term memory.
And so, “Spaced Repetition” learning was born.

Start a study session. You’ll see a word. Click on “Show answer.” Then, mark whether you know it or not. Move on to the next word. And this is where your “persistent teacher” goes to work…
If you don’t know a word, you’ll see it more often.
If you know it, you’ll see the word again in 2 days. Then 4 days. And so on.
Your Flashcards track your progress. Based on your progress, they sort your words and quiz you accordingly. Hard words now. Easy words in 2 days.
