German audio & books (beginner)?

Hi everyone. I just started learning German a few weeks ago. I'm using GermanPod and a few other books and I wanted to ask what audio resources you have found useful. Has watching TV/movies helped you? If so, what do you recommend?

I also want to be able to read and comprehend German. Like for example maybe a few months from now slowly make my way through Harry Potter in German? Right now though my level is too low. Any low-level book recommendations? I would like actual books not readers with stories like "Ich bin ein Junge. Ich bin im Zimmer." Or is my level too low to try to read books? Thanks!
